Scope
This Policy applies when you use the Transesy website, application, learning tools, account features, billing, referrals, or support. It should be read together with the Terms of Service.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use Transesy, we may collect:
- Account information: your name, email address, sign-in details, referral information, profile, and learning preferences.
- Study content: PDFs and other material you upload, extracted text and images, generated study materials, prompts, AI Tutor conversations, and exports.
- Usage information: features used, study activity and time, document progress, AI Credit activity, storage use, referrals, and purchase history.
- Technical and security information: IP address, device and browser details, timestamps, diagnostic information, cookies, security tokens, and abuse-prevention signals.
- Transaction information: the product or plan purchased, amount, currency, payment status, and related identifiers. Payment card details are handled by the payment provider rather than entered into Transesy.
- Support information: messages and files you choose to send when asking for help.
How information is collected
Information is collected directly from you, automatically when you use the service, and from services you choose to use with Transesy. These can include Google sign-in, reCAPTCHA security checks, payment processing, and referral links.
Please avoid uploading personal or sensitive information that is not necessary for your study task.
How we use information
Transesy uses information to create and maintain your account; process documents; generate and deliver learning materials; provide AI Tutor responses; track study progress; manage credits, storage, referrals, and billing; provide support; prevent fraud and abuse; diagnose problems; improve reliability and usability; and meet legal obligations.
Your study content may be sent to AI, cloud infrastructure, storage, and processing providers when necessary to produce the feature you request.
Storage and retention
Information is kept for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security and records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by information type and account status.
When information is deleted, copies may remain temporarily in backups or where retention is required for security, fraud prevention, financial records, or law. Transesy uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Account controls may let you update profile information, manage preferences, remove documents, or close your account. Subject to applicable law, you may also ask to access, correct, export, restrict, object to the use of, or delete personal information.
Send a request from the email address associated with your account to support@transesy.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing it. You may also contact that address with a privacy concern or complaint, and we will review and respond within a reasonable period.
Young users
If you cannot legally consent to the handling of your information where you live, use Transesy only with permission from a parent, guardian, school, or another authorised person. If you believe a young person has provided information without required permission, contact support.
Changes to this Policy
This Policy may be updated when Transesy changes its features, providers, or privacy practices. Material changes will be presented through the service or another reasonable channel. Questions can be sent to support@transesy.com.
